The Location
Filicudi is one of the seven Aeolian Islands, an archipelago of volcanic origin located just North of the Sicilian coastline which was declared a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO. The transparency of its waters and seabed, the colours of its sunsets, and the beaches of pebbles and cliffs give Filicudi its unique charm.
Filicudi’s untamed nature makes it the perfect place for the lovers of uncontaminated and peaceful environments. Filicudi is the ideal spot for the practice of yoga and the pursuit of physical and mental well-being.

The Yoga Retreats
Participants will practice Hatha Yoga. The practice is made accessible to participants of all levels and experiences through the use of props.
All yoga classes are open to a maximum of 12 participants. The small size of the groups allows for a targeted and personalized teaching. We provide all the necessary props: mats, belts, blocks, blankets, bolsters, and chairs.
On a typical day, we practice yoga in the mornings from 7:30 am to 9 am, in the covered patio, sheltered from the summer heat. Practice takes place in the open air, in contact with the sounds and scents of the surrounding nature. On the evenings when a class is scheduled, you will be doing yoga on the large panoramic terrace surrounded by the green of the countryside and the blue of the sea, in harmony with the gradually decreasing sunlight.
Not Just Yoga
The atmosphere at Yogafilicudi is intimate and cosy, in line with traditional Italian values. During your spare time you will be able to enjoy the clear and calm Mediterranean sea, walk around the Island and immerse yourself in the rugged nature, or rest in the comfortable, cool spaces of the house.

The House
Guests are hosted and practice yoga at Casa Rossi, in the Liscio district of Filicudi. The premise develops on two floors. The ground floor is for the guests and includes: one twin bedroom; two triple bedrooms; a spacious mezzanine with a single bedroom; a very large kitchen; three bathrooms (one of which accessible from the terrace); a large covered terrace; a small open-air panoramic terrace; an outdoors Yoga space (covered); a planted garden; a meditation garden; and a relaxation space.
The distance of the house from the seaside is approximately 3 km on paved road, or a 20-minute walk on foot via pedestrian paths. The house has East-side exposure with a breath-taking view on all the other Aeolian islands (except for Alicudi). The premises remain shaded and cool during the afternoon.
The Meals
After the morning practice: brunch with tea, coffee, barley coffee, milk, soy, rice or almond milk, yogurt, cereals and granola, rustic bread cooked in a wood oven, homemade jams, fresh fruit, ricotta and local cheeses. After the evening practice guests can have dinner at restaurants with a typical Aeolian menu; or dine at home with Mediterranean cuisine.
For lunches and snacks during the day, there are cafes and restaurants on the island that provide several options.
